We had a pretty good weekend. On Friday, Sarah and I attended an AniDiFranco concert at UC-Berkeley’s Greek Theatre. This was a greatplace for a summer concert. It’s an outdoors venue that sits just everso slightly up in the East Bay Hills. This meant that we got a greatview of the sun setting to west and an equally good view of the EastBay. The show itself was great. Ani played a ninety minute set,but songs mixed in from most, but not all, of her albums.

On Saturday, I had to rent a car and head down to San Jose. Aserver was misbehaving and needed some TLC, so that took care of mymorning. On Sunday, Sarah and I took the ferry over to PacBell Park in SF andwatched the Giants play the Milwaukee Brewers. Riding the ferry to thegame is a significant improvement over driving. We were able to eat ourlunch on the way there, take in the sights, and when the ferry docked, wewere about fifty yards from the ball-park gate. The only way to getcloser would be to park your car on the field. The day was sunny andwarm, and our seats weren’t bad. It was a good day to take in a ballgame.
