We attended the A's - Red Sox game today at the Oakland Coliseum. Asrumored, a great number of East Coast transplant Red Sox fans were inattendance. As the game drew to a close, and the score was 7-1 infavor of the Red Sox, the Sox fans actually managed to out-cheer theremaining A's fans. As with most professional sporting events, concession prices were extreme. A sixteen ounce "microbrew"(which wasn't necessarily a beer produced by a small brewery) was $7.75. Asixteen ounce Budweiser in a "commerative cup" was $6.00. This is why more and more people eat before going to the ball park. Itisn't that they don't like the food at the ball park, but rather they hategetting gouged for it.
