Today I gave two weeks notice at work that I was leaving the firm. After meeting with management for two hours, it became painfully obvious to both parties that we weren't headed in the same direction anymore. This will be a good opportunity to leave the financial world to try and use my skills in a different sphere.
Rented the movie "Mystery Men" last night. Great flick.
Chatted with someone today who acquainted living in Montreal with renting a cockroach infested cabin in Hell's lower rings (my words, not theirs). The individual in question thought the winters were too severe. Basically, that was their only reason for damning the city. Personally, I thought Montreal was interesting far beyond the point at which cosmetic concerns like weather patterns were important in determining the city's worth.
